THE GUEST JOURNEY
Four rooms. One connected experience.
Conceptual sequence · Room designs in developmentThe producing question
How does a four-room interactive concept become a viable operating experience? Relic Run uses preliminary planning to connect the guest journey to the resources, time, and staffing it would need.
My contribution
I developed a preliminary budget, capacity and staffing assumptions, and a proposed 12-week feasibility and schematic design phase. These are planning tools for evaluating the concept and deciding what needs further development.
The questions that matter
- How long does each group spend in a room, and what does that mean for capacity?
- How does the staffing model support groups throughout the experience?
- Which assumptions have the largest effect on cost and operations?
- What needs to be tested during feasibility before detailed design?
The next step
Refine the budget and operating assumptions together so that the proposed guest experience and the delivery plan support each other.
